Exam Exemption Clarification points:
· ALL Students (AP or not) that have an A and 5 or less absences (excused or unexcused) AND NO Saturday school, ISS or OSS infractions this semester qualify for exemption.
·
In addition, AP students that register to take the AP exam for that class may exempt as well.
Also, all teachers must notify students by Monday, December 16th to let them know if they can exempt. Absent days after Monday, December 16th do not impact the exemption. Once students are told they qualify to exempt then they qualify to exempt. There should be no rescinding exemptions based on absences after Monday the 16th. If the students do not come to school after Monday, December 16th it counts as an absence but not towards the exemption criteria.
PLEASE NOTATE STUDENTS’ EXEMPTION STATUS IN SYNERGY BY DEC. 16TH.
